Custom Designs How We Work Design Concept – The project starts with your idea. When you discuss the project with us, you will get the best of our knowledge and experience. Cost Estimate – As the project takes shape you will get a free cost estimate of the product. Perhaps a sample or mock-up will help you visualize its final form. Tooling – When your design is finalized, we begin building the tool to make your product. A one-time tooling charge covers the cost of building and maintaining the tool. Re-orders require no additional tooling charge. Prototype – After the tooling is complete, you receive a production prototype of the product at no additional charge. This step guarantees that you are getting exactly what you see. Production – Production begins after you have returned an approved part or given us your authorization to proceed. When producing printed or custom products, quantity variances may occur. Therefore, as is customary in the industry, plan on receiving quantities up to 10% over or under the quantity ordered. Also you should allow 4 to 6 weeks from building the tool to producing parts. Naturally, it is our habit to work closely with you through each stage of the project.
